Mandatory Training - Volunteers, Contractors or Visitors

Mandatory Training

The Department of Education requires all volunteers, contractors and visitors to the school to undertake the Mandatory Training Program.  You must complete the training if you visit the school in any of the following capacities:-

  • Class helper (parents, carers, grandparents);
  • Tuckshop volunteers;
  • Contractors;
  • Religious education instructors;
  • Uniform shop volunteers;
  • Swimming coaches;
  • P&C members;
  • School banking volunteers;
  • All other visitors to the school.

If you would like to undertake the Mandatory Training prior to your next visit at the school, please do so via the attached documents.  

Mandatory Training    Feedback Form

You must bring the “Record of Completion” and the “Feedback Form” to the office.

If you visit the school in any of the above capacities, and have not undertaken the Mandatory Training, you will be asked to complete the training at the office (approximately 10 mins of reading time). 

Blue Card

All volunteers, contractors and visitors to the school (who are not a parent/carer of a current student), must hold a valid Volunteer Blue Card and have it with them when visiting the school.  Grandparents/extended family members, must hold a valid volunteer Blue Card (there is no cost).

When you visit the school in any of the above capacities, please come by the office to:-

  • Sign in via the ipad;
  • Do the Mandatory Training (available at the office), or confirm (through the required documentation) that you have already completed it;
  • Present your Blue Card (REQUIRED if you are not a parent/carer of a current student).
