In Term 2, we are pleased to offer our students (Prep to Year 6) the opportunity to participate in a single-day
Dance Curriculum program. Dance Curriculum aims to provide a whole class curriculum to primary schools
around the world, delivered by male role-models, through face-to-face and online programs.
Our school was
lucky enough to have attended the Halogen Leaders Day earlier in the year and won an all-expenses paid one-day workshop.
The program on offer is linked to the Australian Curriculum – The Arts, and therefore we strongly encourage
all students to participate.
The program will involve:
Prep – Year 6 students completing a 40-minute session in Week 6 of Term 2 (Monday 22May);
Students participate in improvisation activities and dance games;
There is no cost for families;
At 2:20 PM – 3:00 PM, Ezra from the Dance Curriculum team will host a whole school performance,
which parents are very welcome to attend (located in the New Hall).
We look forward to maximum student participation (and enjoyment) in this dance program.
