OSHC is open for children to attend for Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care. See hours below:
Before School Care: 7:00-9:00 AM
After School Care: 3:00-6:00 PM
Vacation Care: 7:00AM-6:00 PM
NOTE: Prep students are escorted to classes and supervised by OSHC educators until a teacher is present.
When and how can we enrol our children to attend OSHC?
Enrolments open for 2024 Prep families on Monday 23 October 2023. If you have previously contacted the team at OSHC, your email address would have been added to the Expression of Interest list and as a result you will receive an Enrolment package. If you are unsure whether you are on the email list, please contact OSHC at manager@sherwoodoshc.com.au to verify this. Alternatively, digital versions of the 2024 Enrolment package will be made available on the website.
How much does OSHC cost and what is the difference between casual and routine (permanent) bookings?
The following OSHC fees apply as of 12 July 2021:
- Before School Care - Permanent Bookings $18.00
- Before School Care - Casual Bookings $21.00
- After School Care - Permanent Bookings $25.00
- After School Care - Casual Bookings $30.00
A routine booking is one that repeats on either a weekly or fortnightly basis. A casual booking is one where your child will only be booked in as you require it.
Vacation Care fees start from $75.00 and vary depending on the activities/incursions/excursions being facilitated for the day.
Does CCS apply to OSHC?
CCS does apply to OSHC and as part of our enrolment process, we ask for details which will be then used to apply for CCS on your behalf.
Can my Prep child attend the 2023/2024 Summer Vacation Care?
Yes, 2024 Prep children are welcome to attend the Vacation Care program for any session in 2024. Prep children cannot attend Summer Vacation care for any session in 2023.
