Parent teacher communication

Communication with your child's teacher is important. Our class teachers will predominately use email to correspond with families throughout the school year, including to share class news, reminders about upcoming events, and classroom requirements.

We kindly ask that you email the teacher if you would like to convey a simple message about your child. If the matter requires discussion or is of a more significant nature, please contact the teacher to arrange an appointment for before or after class. 

Please be mindful teacher emails may not be monitored during school hours while they are with the class, so send through any urgent requests regarding changes to pick-up arrangements to the school office. We also appreciate your patience as our teachers respond to parent emails within a 48-hour timeframe.​

Parent teacher interviews

Parent teacher interviews are conducted in Term 1 and 3. All families will be emailed in the weeks leading up to the nominated date and invited to book via the SOBS online booking service. Interviews are conducted in person, in the New Hall, or if requested by the parent, by email. ​

Year level newsletters

Teachers send a newsletter to parents at the beginning of each term, to communicate the objectives for the months ahead, as well as key dates and contacts. Download the most recent Term Newsletters here.​ ​
