Good morning families,
Thank you to all those who have already provided their device option for Year 2 - 5 in 2023.
If you haven't yet completed the short survey via the Qkr! app, please choose one of the following by Monday 21 November, to ensure we have sufficient equipment and storage space ready for the new year:
1. Providing your own iPad (BYOD) for 1:1 use only
2. Opting to access our device hire program (at a cost of $120 per year for device maintenance and upkeep) for 1:1 use only
3. Using School Provided Technology (SPT) where the ratio will be 1:2 or 1:3 use
Our BYOD families will also have the option to indicate whether they would prefer to securely store their device at school during the school week.
Please be assured, our teachers will skilfully manage all three technology options within their classrooms, and as such this does not factor into class formation each year. Families should feel able to choose the device option that fits best for them, confident their child’s teacher will manage the teaching and learning within the room, including the integration of technology, as one tool available to them to encourage their learners to create and connect.
