ACTIVE SCHOOL TRAVEL
AST will officially resume from the Sherwood Arboretum in Term 2, however we will be collecting data from this Wednesday for students who already travel actively to school.
COFFEE CART
Our popular Coffee Cart is back operating from the tuckshop before school from Monday - Thursday. Pre-orders can be made via the Qkr! app, which also displays the current menu.
WEAR ORANGE TO SAY 'BULLYING. NO WAY!'
On Friday (18 March), Sherwood students are encouraged to wear a piece of ORANGE clothing to school to support the National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence.
INTERSCHOOL SPORT
Due to the floods and field conditions, ISS has been postponed by the District (Interschool) Sports Association (WTB) and will now commence on 22 April and run until 27 May.
PLAYGROUND REMINDER
As our oval and playgrounds begin to open up, we thought it was timely to remind families (both long-term and new to our school) that our playgrounds and all oval space sit within our OSHC hire agreement. This means that before and after school these spaces can ONLY be used by our OSHC, or on occasions and when timetabled, some of our grounds are accessed by external hirers who run programs for our students. It is critical we DO NOT have families and students using these spaces, because part of the OSHC rules indicate they must not allow students to be in areas where or when 'others' are using that facility. So we ask all families to please be considerate and adhere to these requirements. Please refer to the table here.
Thank you,
Amanda Hawkswell
