Instrumental recruiting for 2023
We have sent home forms regarding our Band and Strings Programs in 2023. Year 2 students can apply to be part of the Year 3 Beginner Strings Program and Year 3 can apply to be part of the Junior Band Program. Please read the information carefully and return the forms to Mrs Starr in the Music Room by Monday 12 September.
Students will be assessed for their suitability for the program by our Instrumental Specialists early in Term 4.
Beginner Strings help with recruiting for 2023
Earlier this week the Beginner Strings performed alongside a selection of Senior String players for the Year 2 cohort. As we are recruiting for 2023, it was a great opportunity for the older students to show the Year 2s what they have achieved with all their hard work. Violins, violas, cellos and double basses were all there to inspire the Year 2s to consider our Strings Program in 2023. The Year 2s were a wonderful audience and had many questions for the String players.
